ALMOST HELL
Sacro Cuore del Suffragio (Sacred Heart of Suffrage)
Rome's Smallest Gothic chuch. It holds the freakish museum of the souls of purgatory. A chapel inside the original church was destroyed by fire in 1897 and in the singed remains the faithrul congregation could see the outline of a face they believed was a soul caught in purgatory. The singed faces promped the local priest, Father Vicor Jouet to seek out other signs from the souls in purgatory, which he collected over the years. Followers are urged to come to this church to pray that the souls in purgatory be relased.

Photographic reproduction of the altar of Our Lady of the Rosary located in a chapel which existed before 1990 between the present church and the religious house.

A finger left by the pious Sister Mary of St. Luigi Gonzaga, when she appeared to Sister Margareth of the Sacred heart. The deceased nun said that she was in Purgatory to expiate for her lack of patience in accepting God's will. She asked for prayers and as a proof of her apparition she places her forfinger on the pillow and promised to return.

Marks left of a small wooden table and on the sleeve and chemise of the Venerable Mother Isabella Fornari.
